Every Mother Counts
Every Mother Counts is a non-profit organization dedicated to making pregnancy & childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. Hundreds of thousands of women die during pregnancy and childbirth each year. That’s 800 women every day. The good news is that 98% of these deaths can be prevented. We have the tools and the know-how to save these mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, teachers, doctors, caregivers and community leaders—if we make it a priority.
Oiselle is a Seattle-based, by women for women, athletic apparel company. They are dedicated to creating sisterhood through sport. It’s in their DNA – and at the core of everything they do. The Oiselle Volée, of which I’m proud to be a part of this year, is a running club for all women, everywhere, with opportunities for meet ups, training, and the sisterhood of sport. Oiselle’s charitable giving programs, closely follows their mission, and includes the Bras For Girls program, supporting Every Mother Counts, and Girls Gotta Run Ethiopia.

Nilotic® was conceived in 2015 after a group of Ugandan farmers, natural skincare connoisseurs and women’s empowerment enthusiasts teamed up with a British formulations specialist and a couple of US-based expats.
For every vegan natural skincare purchase, the company plants one Moringa, one Shea, and one Bamboo tree, and provides three weeks of school fees for a disadvantaged child in Kampala, Uganda.
